Broken Chair Tutoring exists to enable students
to develop discerning minds and strong character
through in-depth study of the humanities
from a Christian perspective. 
 

In C.S. Lewis' book, The Silver Chair, a witch binds
Prince Rilian to an enchanted chair to keep him under
a spell of ignorance and delusion. When the prince is
set free he breaks the chair and thus the witch's power
to deceive.
 

In the real world, the power of ignorance and deception 
is broken through studying the great works of history, philosophy, and literature in pursuit of the Good, the Beautiful, and the True, all in light of the One who is
the Truth.
